Our Wells Beach Maine Location And Resort Amenities

Lafayette’s Oceanfront Resort is located at the end of Mile Road, just one mile from U.S. Route 1, but in the middle of a quiet, residential area of homes and vacation rental properties, and of course, Wells Beach. We have a complex of nine different buildings, five of which sit right on the beach. Many of our rooms have private balconies with panoramic views of the ocean. Our resort is open year round, allowing you to enjoy the beach through every season. Although summer is certainly the most popular season in Maine, the beauty of this coastal area is enchanting throughout the year. Be sure to get up early at least one morning and see our Atlantic Ocean sunrises.

In addition to our great beachfront location, we offer other resort amenities, including a year round indoor pool, and an adjacent waterfall hot tub. You can get some exercise in our modern workout room, or borrow a Lafayette bicycle. And our lobby is well stocked with visitor information, and some made-in-Maine gear to browse and buy. We are located in Casino Square (there was a casino here many years ago), now the home to a small handful of shops and eateries. There is also a seafood take-out restaurant right here, with tables and chairs for outside season in season. The Wells Trolley stops here regularly in season, and will take you to various locations.
