Why are the tides different this year than last year when I was here? From high tide to low tide is approximately 5 hours and 55 minutes. A complete tidal cycle is about 11 hours 50 minutes. This causes the tide times to vary from day to day and year to year.

How far is it to the jetty from the hotel? Approximately 1.1 miles.

Do I need a parking pass? From Memorial Day to Columbus Day, yes, after that these passes are unnecessary.

Do I need a pool pass? From Memorial Day to Columbus Day, yes, after that these passes are unnecessary.

Do you have cottages and vacation rentals? We have several properties that we either own or manage.

Do you have suites? We have a suite in the Motor Inn West. It has a jacuzzi tub, massage chair, fireplace, large granite tiled shower with two shower heads, double sink vanity, and a small children’s room.

Do you have jacuzzi tubs in your rooms? We have one room with a hot tub. Room 131 (Suite) which is in the Motor Inn West.

Do you have efficiencies? Yes, we do. Rooms 145, 146, 245 and 246 located in the Beachfront Lodge, are side rooms with partial views from the balcony. Rooms 7B and 8B, which are directly on the ocean as well as 9B and 10B, which are economy sized rooms located on the lower level and in the back of the Annex building.

What is sea smoke? Sea smoke is similar to fog. It occurs when the air temperature is very cold and the water temperature is warmer. This temperature difference creates a mist/fog coming off the water about one to two feet high.

Do you accept pets? Sorry, no pets at any time.
