90 Degrees Yesterday!

It sure feels like summer around here. The forecast for this weekend is sunny and hot! We are looking forward to a busy start to the summer season. Plan to come to Wells Beach to cool off in the water and to spend some time with the ones you love! A weekend at the beach is the perfect getaway!
I drove around Wells and Ogunquit yesterday and everything is open and ready for the weekend. I saw people playing miniature golf, eating ice cream, shopping, surfing, kayaking, antiquing, biking, strolling and relaxing.
Sea kayaking is coming back to Wells Beach! Worldwithin Sea Kayaking will be renting kayaks off Wells Beach again this summer! Shingled House Rooms 7B & 8B

Rooms 8B and 7B are finally complete. We have posted new pictures of them on the website. They came out very nice. 8B now has a fireplace, a 42-inch flat screen television, two queen size Tempur-pedic beds, a kitchen area, a five-foot granite shower with two showerheads, a sliding glass door and a pullout sofa. Room 7B has all of this without the fireplace and without the sliding glass door. We also just finished remodeling the bathrooms in the Motor Inn West. There are now five-foot granite showers with double showerheads, new tile floors and a new toilet. These rooms also just had new carpet installed as well.The Panorama and Deluxe rooms just got new carpet. All of the Panorama rooms also have 42-inch televisions now. The stairwells and the second floor hallway in Ledgeview just got new wainscoting and chair rails.We are still working on a few more projects and we will keep you updated on their progress. Reservations are coming in fast for the summer so be sure to call and reserve your room now. We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to Wells Beach!
